# Can Arlon films be used on the exterior of an aircraft?

## No. Arlon films are not engineered for aircraft graphics.

Some would phrase this question as whether Arlon films are FAA approved, compliant, or certified. However, even 3M Exterior Aircraft Graphic Films A7322 or A7706 cannot be used for regulatory-required graphics and "disclaims any warranty that the product satisfies or is in compliance with any aviation authority regulations."
