Can self-adhesive vinyl films be applied to antimicrobial paints?

Can self-adhesive vinyl films be applied to antimicrobial paints?

Short answer: No, vinyl films tend to curl up and lift quickly. We do not have a film recommendation at this time.

Antimicrobial paints prevent the growth of harmful bacteria, mold, fungi, and viruses. These paints are most commonly used in medical facilities, locker rooms, schools, daycare centers, hotels, homes, and cruise ships, areas that are susceptible to higher levels of bacteria.

These paints are effective for their intended purpose, but are detrimental to the adhesion of films (similar to zero/low-VOC paints). Currently, we do not have a film recommendation for these paint systems. If selling a film for this intended purpose, please ask the customer to do compatibility testing for at least a week prior to beginning the job.
