# What is the minimum size for cut & weeding?

## The minimum size to cut and weed can be 1" (25mm) for non-air egress films to 3" (75mm) for air-egress films.

Generally, these are the smallest text size we recommend for these products. Customers can go smaller, but weeding is more difficult and requires better cutting conditions:

**Cut Films:**   
Cast/Calendered Cut graphic films: **1**  **inch**

**Printable Films:**   
PVC film with no air egress adhesive: **1 inch**   
PVC film with air egress adhesive: **3 inch**

Reflective product no air egress: **2 inch**   
Reflective product with air egress: **3 inch**
