How do ICC profiles work on HP Latex printers?

HP profiles for 100, 300, or 500 series printers are located on the actual printer itself. You can find Arlon media ICC profiles on the printer by navigating on the printer screen to "Substrate Library" then "Online Search".

ICC profiles for HP Latex 100/300/500 printers are unique in that they exist ONLY on the printer. Profiles for HP printers are NOT RIP software specific. You do not need specific profiles for different RIP software such as Flexi, Onyx, Caldera, etc.

How to upload Arlon media ICC profiles to HP Latex printers:

1. Using the screen on the printer, go into the "Substrate Library" application.

2. Use the "Online Search" function on the left and search for the desired media. Download the profile.

3. The RIP software should then recognize the profile, there is no need to upload ICC profiles to the RIP software. If there is a "Media Mismatch" simply go into the settings of the printer and make sure to choose the same Media in the software as selected on the printer.
