If a profile is not available, which generic profile(s) can I use?
You can use generic profiles provided with the RIP software or competition's profile.
In general, generic profiles print great when used with the correct type of media (cast, calendared, ect). For example: Roland PCV4 (premium Cast Vinyl 4) profile prints fine on our 2-mil cast vinyl product. We also take request to create new profiles on new printers if we do not have any profiles currently. New is defined as 2015 to now, and printers older than 2007 are difficult to support. If all else fails, our films work well with Avery and 3M profiles when a comparable media is used (cast, calendared, etc).
