If I paint the drywall, will DPF 6700 or DPF 8000 still damage the wall when removed?

Yes. DPF 6700 and DPF 8000 both have permanent adhesives. They may not peel the paint off the paper per se but the adhesion between the graphic film and the paint will be stronger than the adhesion of the paper to the plaster.
