How to Install on Rivets - Roller Methods
Tunnel Methods
- Remove the release liner and drape the whole panel over the surface.
- With a squeegee, apply the flat areas first, leaving a continuous tunnel of air approximately one inch away from rivets on both sides.
- Heat a section of film that covers 4-5 rivets. As you apply heat, the film will wrinkle but will flatten out once it reaches its optimum temperature (180°F to 240°F).
- Using a foam roller applicator, apply firm pressure over 2-3 rivets at the time. Going over too many rivets at once may result in tenting because of film cooling.
- Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until you finish the entire column of rivets, and then move on to the next set.
- Post-heat the film on the rivets to 200°F to 220°F (95°C to 105°C)

- With a squeegee, carefully apply the flat areas last.
TIP: Use light squeegee pressure during the first pass to avoid trapping bubbles in the flat areas.
