Managing Air Bubbles

Occasional bubbles may occur due to insufficient pressure or missed squeegee strokes.

Here’s how to address them:

Small bubbles (½-inch radius or less):
Apply firm thumb pressure to flatten them.

Larger bubbles:
Split the bubble into smaller sections until each is under ½ inch in radius, then flatten individually.

High-pressure or tight bubbles:

  1. Use a poking tool to release trapped air.
  2. Apply light heat to relax the film.
  3. Allow it to cool.
  4. Reapply pressure to smooth the area.

Following these steps preserves both appearance and long-term performance.
