What's the ideal film temperature to install with a RollePro on rivets?
The film's temperature must be 180°F-240°F (80°C-115°C) for it to be soft enough to conform around a standard rivet.
Upon testing, it was difficult to pinpoint exactly what temperature the RollePro?s foam deteriorate due to the film and substrate?s quick rate of cooling.
The minimum temperature to roll the graphic to a rivet is around 160°F. However, 180°F was recommended in an article Rivets ? Two ?Right? Ways by Rob Ivers. So Tech Services also recommends that 180°F be the minimum film temperature since it is well within range and this also takes the film's cooling into consideration. The maximum temperature was determined from a separate case where the RollePro started to leave black foam deposits at around 250°F.
